 The most enjoyable way to observe and create art from life is by painting outdoors! Join us to learn essential techniques and helpful tips for outdoor painting. I’ll share insights from my forty years of painting experience, including eight years spent painting outside. No prior experience is required. Explore different methods and equipment choices for outdoor art. All materials will be provided, but you’re welcome to bring anything that inspires you! Come and have a fantastic time!

Experiencing life through outdoor work offers insights that photographs simply cannot capture. The ambiance, authentic colors, and the thrill of the moment can be truly appreciated in person. These vibrant elements can enhance your studio creations, bringing them to life. Participating in plein air studies can significantly elevate your studio practice. In this two-day workshop, Kimberly will guide you through various techniques to improve your field compositions and incorporate them into your studio artwork.  All materials will be provided for this engaging class, which promises to transform your perspective!

Join me Monday mornings or evenings right here on the farm for some quality studio time. I'll have the coffee and tea. You bring the project you're working on and your supplies. I'll be there to offer help and encouragement and even a demo now and then. Limited capacity so grab your easel space early.
